Cockatiels!!!!! Yay!!!!!

• Cockatiels are not even 12-14 inches long!! This
  bird resembles a cockatoo, and is bigger than a
  parakeet . The most common cockatiel has a
  yellow through ,with a grayish bluish crest and
  beak. Also white wing coverts and brown eyes. As
  you see here this is the most common cockatiels.
  Also isn't he adorable!!

Its habitat

• The cockatiels habitat is a Savannah grassland
  cleared community near water. They are usually in
  pairs. Flocks damage crops .( Especially millet!)

When they breed and their diet.

• They nest in tree hollows. Also they usually
  breed after rain fall . Their diet is plain
  canary seed. Also sun flower seed kernels ,
  safflower apples , carrots and all green foods.
  They feed mostly on the ground. Last they lay
  eggs in the dust of the bottom of the tree hollow.

  parrot!!!!! When cockatiels get excited or scared
  the yellow crest feathers on their head pops up!!!

• Cockatiels use dust to clean their feathers to
  keep their wings dry. Cockatiels can live up to
  10-25 years!!!! This first cockatiel picture is
  saying Look how pretty I am!!!
