• ARRA funds must be used to create save jobs,
  jumpstart our economy build the foundation for
  long term economic growth
• Including strengthening the Nations healthcare
  infrastructure and reducing healthcare costs
  through prevention activities
• Colorado will receive 4,073,748
• VACCINE 2,473,748
• OPERATIONS 1,600,000

• The goal for these funds is to increase the
  number of children adults vaccinated against
  vaccine-preventable diseases.
• Vaccination of
• Children with all routinely recommended vaccines
  influenza vaccine
• Adolescents with routine and catch-up
  vaccination and
• Adults over age 60 with zoster vaccine.

Application Guidance

• Grantees and Sub-recipients will fall under the
  same reporting and auditing scrutiny.
• A sub-recipient would be an LPHA, a school
  district, etc.
• All recipients of ARRA funds will need a CCR and
  DUNS number/registration
• All ARRA funds must be tracked independently of
  existing grant funds
• "This is one time funding
• Reporting will include quarterly submissions to a
  central government portal
• Audits of recipients will be posted on line
