- 2007 Goals Status
- GWPC and Energistics will conduct industry review
comment period on the regulatory industry life
cycle (ePermit currently) additions to the WITSML
Standards. WITSML is a trademark of
Energistics. Status was completed mid-year.
- California and Colorado to implement Agency
ePermitting Implementation Guides and begin pilot
program using the regulatory ePermiting WITSML
Standards. Status California is in IT
reengineering phase, Colorado is in a position to
be first to use the WITSML electronic permitting
standards. The testing and deployment approach
was impacted around mid-year due to loss of DOE
funding support. In response, a scaled down
agency development is being pursued locally and
an Energistics Work Group of operators is forming
to perform pilot implementations and deployments.
- GWPC, Energistics and industry companies will
edit distribute promotional brochure on
regulatory ePermiting WITSML Standards.
Status Brochure completed, distributed to
PIDX, GWPC, and soon at Energistics 2nd Annual
Summit on Nov 6th.
9REGS

soon to be approved.

- State of Alaska is upgrading their Royalty Report
Interface for reporters, hope to implement within
six months. Provides logon interface to check
status of report filings to ensure reports are
balanced for the month (includes EDI X12
filers). - Update from MMS Electronic Activities
- MMS is meeting with PROFOG to discuss reporting
modifications enhancements. MMS edits will be
implemented in the SAP/PRA code. If direct EDI
reports continue to experience errors, they will
be asked to use the Inovis reporting solution (
to catch errors upfront). -
- MMS Lease/Agreement cross-reference is available
electronically. - Reporting histories should match MMS history as
recorded in MMS Brio Portal. - Net Zero prior period adjustments should not be
submitted to MMS.
11REGS
