Price Plans

• Significant upgrade involving new data for every
  client
• Impacts on
• Websites - availability bookability
• Datamanager (all products will now have a price
  plan)
• Counterpoint
• Destination-centre.net - search and book
  accommodation
• Once Price Plans have been rolled out, providers
  will only be able to update prices in Guestlink
  V3
• Upgrade one bureau (area) at a time

Key steps

• Preparation
• Update websites to use new availability grids
  bookability
• Update datamanager counterpoint to be ready for
  price plans
• Update destination-centre.net
• Convert tariffs to price plans
• Stop providers updating prices
• Copy details into price plans
• Start using new functionality
• Prices can only be updated using Guestlink V3
• On-screen messages advise status of all other
  functionality

Communications

• Mailing to providers a few days before conversion
• Email to providers day before conversion
• Email to destination day before conversion
• System news charts progress of upgrade
• During upgrade, providers will not be able to
  update their prices (approx half a day)
