    Federal Government

  • Works in conjunction with NUS- International
    Student Department

    international students in Australia
  • To co-ordinate and assist with the activities in
    support of international students in Australia
  • To maintain and improve the quality of education
    available to international students in Australia
  • To promote international student understanding
    and the principle of multiculturalism in
    Australia

    inequality or intolerance which obstructs the
    achievements of NLCs aims objectives

  • Currently 1569 offshore programs are offered by
    Australian universities
  • 70 in China (including HK), Singapore, Malaysia
    (AVCC)
  • According to Australian Financial Review 1 out of
    5 students undertaking Australian degree does not
    come to Australia.
  • According to IDP 35 of all overseas enrolment
    are offshore enrolment which will increase to 44
    by 2025.

  • Earmarked 590,000 a year for audit of Australian
    university offshore operation that enrol 73,000
    students offshore (The Australian).
