Installation
  • INSITE 7.4 installation
  • INSITE 7.4 is available for all active INSITE
    registered users in the form of a DVD
  • INSITE v7.4 will update any current INSITE
    software version v7.2, v7.3, v7.3FP1 and v7.3FP2
  • A new password will not be required if an active
    subscription to INSITE exists

  • INLINE 4/5 drivers (5.6.3.1) installation
  • The latest available INLINE 4/5 drivers will
    automatically be installed or upgraded with the
    installation of INSITE v7.4
  • Administrative rights are needed for the USB
    driver association after the installation

  • INSITE Fault Viewer
  • INSITE Fault Viewer will be available for
    installation through INSITE DVD for all
    registered INSITE Pro Functionality users
  • INSITE Fault Viewer is designed to provide the
    ability to monitor public faults on a J1939 or
    J1708 network
  • The Fault Viewer will help to isolate the
    probable cause of a system failure or error
  • Administrative rights are needed for installation

  • Data Monitor/Logger Graphical Monitoring
  • Graphical Monitoring is a way to display, log,
    print, and save data for up to six parameters in
    a graph
  • Graphical Monitoring visually monitors and plots
    multiple parameters into a graphical display

graphing

Add or Remove parameters to be graphed
Select the sampling rate and click OK

The graph can be imported or saved

Message pops up when you attempt to close the
graph without saving

    opening INSITE for the first time
  • INSITE now provides the capability to enter both
    the Basic and Functionality password the first
    time it is opened
  • This applies to a new installation only
  • After entering the Basic password, a window will
    open asking for the Functionality password to be
    entered

calibration download status

  • Adjustable Parameters Recovery File
  • If a calibration download fails when Save/Restore
    Adjustable Parameters is selected, INSITE will
    save these parameters to an Adjustable Parameter
    Recovery File
  • The file can be used by INSITE to restore the
    Dataplate and adjustable parameters on this ECM
    if it is in a ROM Booted or Foot Printed state on
    the next successful download

  • Engine Torque History
  • Engine Torque History records the four most
    recent horsepower ratings applied to an engine,
    and displays the Maximum Power and Maximum Torque
    ratings available
  • This applies only to ISB4.5/6.7 ISD4.5/6.7 CM2150
    SN (Euro 5) and ISL8.9 CM2150 SN (Euro 5)

New ECM Diagnostic Test
  • Aftertreatment Diesel Exhaust Fluid System Leak
    Test
  • This test is designed to command the dosing
    system to build and maintain prime regardless of
    the SCR Inlet Temperature
  • This test can be used to verify that the system
    is free of leaks after reassembly or to validate
    the repair of a faulty component in the dosing
    system
  • This only applies to ISC8.3 CM2250, ISL9 CM2250,
    ISB6.7 CM2250, ISF3.8 CM2220 AN, ISF2.8 CM2220
    AN, ISX 11.9/15 CM2250
