He has been a member of the Romanian Artists’ Union since 1968. Ion Petru Pop (1942-2015) s-a născut la 18 martie 1942, la Cheia, jud. Cluj. Absolvent al Universităţii de Artă şi Design „Ion Andreescu”, Cluj-Napoca, secţia grafică, promoţia 1966. Membru UAP din 1968, a participat începând din 1967 la Saloane judeţene şi republicane, expoziţii de grup în ţară şi străinătate.

Acad. Prof. Dr. Honoris Causa Ion Irimescu (1903 – 2005) was one of Romania's greatest sculptors. His works have been exhibited around the world (Paris, Moscow, Belgrade, Budapest, Istanbul, Warsaw, Rome, Prague, Oslo, Tokyo, etc.). By commission, he painted the interior of the Opriseni Orthodox Church in his native town. In 2003, upon becoming a centenarian, he was distinguished with a remarkable celebration by the Romanian Academy and Romanian Ministry of Culture. General School No. 2 in his native city (where Mihail Sadoveanu had studied) was renamed in his honor. The Center for Study and Creation in Fălticeni also bears his name.

«Teddies Riot» combines art with altruism and civic spirit. The teddy bear was chosen as a form of expression because it is an international symbol of childhood. Everywhere in the world you see children with a teddy bear in their arms regardless of religion or nationality. The artist transposed this symbol into ceramics, in a work of 4,000 teddy bears. Each one different, each with its own emotion.

"The Choir of the Innocents" or the choir of 5000 figurines is the project launched at the beginning of Andrei Pandea's career. At the time, he was still living in Bistrița and wanted to get off the ground with a project that would have a double purpose: launching him as an artist and helping several children with disabilities and serious health problems. He worked for months on making the figurines, putting every last drop of energy and enthusiasm into the cause he believed in. In the end, all the effort was well and truly worth it. The choir consisted of thousands of figurines, and the project was going to be a success. That's how he launched himself, as an artist, but also as a person who wants to leave something in the community, he is part of.

David Croitor was born in Suceava, Romania, in 1958. He graduated from the Faculty of Geology, University of Bucharest, 1988. He also attended painting and drawing lessons with the skilled artists Dimitrie Loghin in Suceava and Aurel Anitei in Bucharest. Currently, he lives in Vatra Dornei and works exclusively as an independent painter.
