Why is it a good tool to use?

• Easier than 3 X 5 Note Cards
• Organized presentations are heard better
• More information can be given AND REMEMBERED
• Pictures can be used along with words
• Handouts can be used as well

• Click Insert New Slide
• Hold the Ctrl key and push the M key
• Or right-click in the Thumbnail area and select

General Text Guidelines

• Use no more than 2 different fonts
• Text needs to be a minimum size of 24
• No more than 7 words per line
• No more than 7 lines per slide
• Avoid all capital letters
• Use Sans-serif fonts

Adding Clip Art

• Choose the clipart layout from the slide layout
  on the left.
• Or Insert clip art from the Insert Menu.

• Click Insert Movies and Sounds Sound from
  Clip Organizer

Slide Transitions

• Right-click on Slide select Slide Transition
• Select transition from the list on the right
• Can preview by clicking on one

Making the Show

• Slide Show Set Up Show
• Slideshow View Show
• File Package for CD
• Give CD a name
• Click Copy to CD

Making a Photo Album

• File New Photo Album (right-hand side of the
  screen)
• Choose Insert picture from File or Disk
• Select the pictures
• Click Insert
• Choose the settings you want
• Click create
