INSTRUCTIONS FOR PENCIL BAG This bag is big so
that students need not have too many bags or
containers for their rulers, pens, pencils
rubbers etc Use a strong fabric ie Denim or
Cheese Cloth. You will need 25cm (60inches) of
1.50cm (60inch) width fabric and the same for the
Lining 1, 35cm (14inch) Zip 1. Cut 2, 36cm (14
inches) X 20cm (8 inches) of fabric 2. Cut 2,
lining same as above 3. Embroider your design
onto one of the main pieces of fabric. 4. Pin
lining to the 2 fabric pieces tack. 5. At the
top of the Bag fold a small hem tack it ( on
both pieces ie back front
of the bag) 6. Place folded edges on to the zip
also tack to keep in place. 7. Sew in Zip where
tacked. 8. Open zip fold bag inside out, sew
along sides bottom of the bag. 9. Overlock the
sides where sewn, and the bottom of the bag
where sewn. 10. Fold Bag to right side and
you have a really cute pencil bag.
