2Destiny is our electronic card catalog
- It will help you search for materials in the
library/media center.
3Destiny lets you search for materials in four
different ways.
4The first way to search is with keyword.
The first way to search is with KEYWORD. For
example if youre searching the presidential
election, you might use the keyword of
president.
5The second way to search is by Title. If you
want to find the book, The Skeleton Key, you
would enter the information through this box.
6The third way to search is by Author. So if
you are looking for a book by Anthony Horowitz,
you would use this button.
7The most popular way to research using Destiny
is by putting in a SUBJECT. If you want
information on Polar Bears, this would be your
subject that you would enter with this button.
8And finally there is the SERIES search button.
If you are looking for a book in the Clique
Series, you would use this button and enter the
series.
9Destiny is web-based and can be used anywhere
there is access to the internet, including your
home.
10How do you get to Destiny? The library
computers have Destiny saved in the Favorites
on the internet browser otherwise you use the
URL address http//168.229.180.215
11Now its your turn to use Destiny!
- Using the Destiny website located on the
computers under Favorites, find the answers to
the following questions - Name a book by the author, Todd Strasser
- Who wrote The Uglies?
- How many books do we have using the keyword
Constitution - 4.. Is Anorexia Nervosa listed as a subject in
the catalog if so, how many books are there on
this topic?
