3What is a reconciliation?
Matching data on the DCPDS and DCPS system.
Essential to ensure accuracy of employee pay and
benefit participation. Identifies system
shortfalls in both systems.
4Reconciliation Process
Reconciliation must be Processed 3 times a Year
mandated by the Chief Financial Officer. Hot
and Benefits issues must be reconciled monthly.

- Check to see if the org code is in DCPS
- Personnel/Payroll Advisory Letter (PAL) issues
(see Job Aids Page) - Check for Pay reject or IVRS reject in ART
- Check to see if the action flowed on the PAY500
