THE CHEMICALLY AND ELECTROCHEMICALLY MODIFIED
RESINS AS END MATERIALS FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF
NANOCOMPOSITES IN DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEMS
280 of worldwide production of sensors is covered
by thermistors and piezoresistorsThe
progressive miniaturisation of components
implicates the production of parts that HAVE the
properties of a resistor, which means they
fulfill the relation Rf(T)
THE OBJECT OF OUR INVESTIGATION IS TO
ELABORATE INNOVATIVE MATERIALS WITH SUCH
PROPERTIES
3To have a closer look
Our area of investigation is the
electrotribological friction couple.
The aimed applications are the intelligent
systems of autonomous and controlled vehicles.
The aimed products are mini-brakes and sliding
bearings
4Some words about the electrotribology
The electrotribology consists in studying and
observing the electrical phenomena and parameters
during friction. These studies are based no
the existence of a friction couple of bodies
rubbing each other
Our aim is to retrieve the electrical values when
one member of the friction pair is made of the
material we wish to introduce
5As our interest is in mini- and nanoparts, we
tend to perform these devices with a unique,
intelligent material having the properties of a
sensor and the adequate small size
THE ELECTROCHEMICALLY AND CHEMICALLY MODIFIED
RESINS Silicone, polyester, polyimide or
epoxide resins with ceramic or metal particles
forming a nanocomposite
6Application of the electrochemically modified
resins
Nanocomposite - end material for the elaboration
of mobile parts, designed for electrotribology
and microelectronics, especially for metrological
applications.
7Qualities and defaults of the electrochemically
and chemically modified resins
- QUALITIES
- their isotropy in macro scale and their
anisotropy in nano scale - their thermocouple and piezoresistive properties
- possibility of forming small size extrusions with
simple matrixes - miniaturisation of devices made with these resins
- wide range of applications
8Defaults of the electrochemically modifies resins
- Necessity of performing the following
investigations
9Generally, we can distinguish the following types
of investigations
- investigation on the properties of material
components - investigation on the parameters of technological
processes (production of new materials
(nanolayers, nanocomposites) and its
optimisation) - investigation aimed at describing the properties
of models - design-project investigation of
electrotribological and metrological
applications - investigation on the exploitation properties of
semi-conductive sliding bearings - elaboration of miniature semi-conductive sliding
bearings.
