• Have always liked learning about deer patterns
• Research might be able to tell if something is
  affecting the deer

Hypothesis

• Deer distribution and feeding patterns will
  change as a result of changing seasons.

METHODS

• Quadrat
• 1.) Field station was divided into 50 quadrat
• 2.) chose sites based of habitat
• 3.) walked in a straight line in quadrat
• 4.) recorded any deer sign
• 5.) after done w/ transect, paced off,
• walked next transect

Conclusion

• Insufficient data was collected to accept or
  reject the hypothesis.
• Anecdotal observations indicate deer are feeding
  more heavily in spring, particularly in the open
  field.
• Future research should focus on sampling more
  quadrats and collecting data prior to the deer
  hunt.
