  the period of 1945/1989
• Till 1950 from Bulgaria escaped only enemy
  elements

• Economic Impossibility for realization in
  Communists Bulgaria

• Officially as traitors of the Motherland
  were announced 5933 people and 372 of them could
  never come back in Bulgaria

What is the difference between the Bulgarians
and Germans emigrants

• - The Germans emigrants escaped from Germany to
  Germany (the same language, the same culture)
• - The Bulgarians emigrants escaped in the whole
  world (new languages, new cultures)

• The Germans emigrant escaped crossing the Berlin
  Wall or crossing the states border or through
  third countries (for example Bulgaria, Greece,
  Turkey etc.)
• Do you know how many German Democratic Republics
  citizens tried to cross the Bulgarians border
  with Turkey or Bulgarians border with Greece and
  were killed???

• The Bulgarians emigrants escaped also through
  the states borders, but they used the
  possibility to travel to a countries in West
  Europe, for work or on a trip, and they never
  came back in Bulgaria

• They made their emigrants organizations in Paris,
  Munich,Triest,Vienna,Chicago, California
• They worked in Radio Free Europe , Deutsche
  Welle and BBC
• They organised from there the fights against the
  Communists government in Bulgaria

  they were all fighter against the Communists
  regime
