More expectations to come in the future.. Parent
Pickup, Computer Lab, Arrival, Dismissal, Fire
drill, Severe Weather Drill, Lockdown, and Locker
Expectations.

Positive Rewards-Caught being good slip
  • Every staff member will give Caught You Being
    Good slips to students demonstrating ABOVE AND
    BEYOND normal behavior expected.
  • These slips will be carried with staff member or
    accessible in office, lounge, etc. for staff to
    give to a student.
  • Staff members are asked to give 5-10 slips per
    week.
  • Staff members write their name on bottom of slip.
  • Students write their names on the slip.
  • Students take slips to office when possible and
    place in appropriate box. Students will get a
    prize from prize box in office when he/she turns
    in slip. OR
  • Students may turn in slip to snack cart to
    receive a free snack.
  • 8. At end of a month, the grades that earn a set
    number of slips may be rewarded with gym time,
    computer time, outside time, etc. Students will
    also be drawn out each month and recognized by
    principal on announcements with prizes.

Office Discipline Referral Form- used for
students that show problem behaviors 6 minor
misbehaviors equals 1 major misbehavior for first
nine weeks. All major misbehaviors are referred
to office immediately. Administration will
conference with this student and use appropriate
consequences. Information will be entered into
new computer program that tracks all discipline
referrals (SWIS). All student misbehaviors will
be tracked. Continuous office referrals and
repeated major misbehaviors by students can lead
to Falcon Academy referral.

Monthly Drawing for Falcons that have Heart! All
students in each grade will be entered in a
monthly drawing for Wal-mart gift cards for
having good behavior. Students that have not
been sent to office for major problem behavior
will automatically be entered. This information
will be gathered by office staff. Other rewards
may also be given for these students each month
that may include gym time, computer time, and
etc.

Yearly Drawing for Falcons that have
Heart! Students that are entered in the monthly
drawing will automatically be entered in the end
of the year drawing for a large prize (example
computer, ipod, or hdtv. Prize to be named
later.) Example If a student does not receive
an office referral for 7 months, then that
childs name would be entered 7 times in the end
of the year drawing. This could increase their
odds of winning.

AAA
Triple AAA Club- Students that meet the
guidelines in Academics, Attendance, and Attitude
will receive rewards for their achievement for
each nine week period. Academics - Students
must have 92 average or above. Attitude
Students may have no ISS/office referrals.
Attendance - Students must also have no more
than two absences (excused or unexcused) and no
more than (7) tardies/events combined for all day
participation. Students may have no more than 3
absences (excused or unexcused) and no more than
7 tardies/events combined for ½ day participation.

Keep doing what you have been doing that makes
you successful. Please go over these expectations
with the students. Go over your procedures that
help kids meet the expectations. Be positive
with the kids as much as you can. Use the
rewards that work for you and also the ones we
are using school-wide. This will help us to
make sure all students and staff know what we
expect. If something needs improving or
changing, please let a principal or a KYCID
Member know and we can discuss it at our KYCID
meetings. Lets have a great year.
