Title: What is work simplification

1
What is work simplification?
  • Work simplification is the process of making work
simple enough for you to be able to accomplish
    your goals.
  • The goal of work simplification is to reduce
time, maximize energy and minimize expense in the
    completion of tasks.

2
4 step process in work simplification
  • Planning
  • Organizing
  • Delegating
  • Improving and Sustaining

3
Planning
  • In any endeavor we take on, we always need a
plan. (example wedding plans, party plans,
    financial plans, housing plans, etc.)
  • Planning helps us visualize the results we want
and each step we need to take in order to get us
    there.
  • Plans serve as our guide roadmap to help us
    utilize our resources efficiently effectively.

4
How do you make a plan?
  • Start with a Mission Vision statement.
  • A mission statement is a concise statement of
your life purpose or your reason for existence.
  • A vision statement tells you how to accomplish
your mission. It serves as a lighthouse or
compass, guiding you in the right direction. It
measures your progress, helps you set your goals
    and establish your priorities.

5
Example of a Mission statement
  • My ultimate purpose in life is to live my life
well, by knowing, loving and serving my Creator,
so that I can meet Him at the end of my life.
This I can achieve by doing Gods will and
    following His design for me.
  • I will be a good wife to my husband, attending to
his daily needs, making sure that he always looks
forward to being home and spending time with his
family. I will be a good mom to my children,
involving myself in their lives, spending time
with them, teaching them, disciplining them and
having fun with them. I will have good
relationships with my extended family and
friends. I will be a true friend to them and be
there to listen and empathize with each of them.
I will also serve my neighbor (whoever is in
front of me at the moment), loving them the way
    God wants me to.

6
Example of a Vision Statement
  • Five years from now, I will still be happily
married to my husband, and we will have 2
children. We will be living in a bigger home,
with a garden and pool and lots of room where the
children can play. I will work close to the home
so I do not have to waste time on the road in
endless traffic. Ninety percent of the income I
will generate will be saved for annual family
vacations, while the remaining ten percent will
    be given to the Church.
  • By being home early, I will be able to spend
more time cooking dinner for the family, playing
with my kids, reading books to them and teaching
them. Aside from family time, I will also be able
to go to the gym and resume playing badminton
    with my friends.
