Welcome to the Kapi-dhvaja 11.2. We are in Lima,
Peru and it is cold and damp, But in the
afternoon there is sun, sometimes. Lots of
stress. Lots of work. Lots of results.

Goswami. Dr. Harold Resnick. Maharaja entered
the Lima airport in a blaze of glory!

  looking the ocean, lunch was very rare.

NIOS gave 8,000 to Oscar for the movie,
Bhagavad-gita, the Universal Form. After great
effort and the help of the Minister of the
Interior, he and Anna and Rodrigo were last seen
disappearing into one of the most dangerous and
ancient jungles of Peru.

ASA Santiago All Glories to Srila Prabhupada Our
most humbled reverences from here, far far
away. Ananda Vardhana took the members from the
Board of the Temple and on another occasion
around 40 devotees to see his father's land which
is for sale. One of the ideas is to buy this
land and eventually build with subsidies from the
government. We are openly receiving articles for
Utsaha magazine. The process becomes slow
because some articles are never sent. We are
thinking about another name for the magazine,
considering is a magazine destined to people in
general, What do you think about it? What is your
experience in others countries? ASA Is best to
start with a small paper publication explaining
Who are the people involved in the magazine, what
is their goal, how they plan to work together and
what resources they have. Circulate that and see
what response there is. At the same time have a
Blog or some Web space that is parallel, but not
the same as the paper copy. Here in Chile there
is a very popular magazine called Nuevo Mundo
which is made by a man who is married with a
senior mataji devotee who is a little away
nowdays. It only presents esoteric themes and
yoga. Of course our orientation is more
academic.

• ASA Santiago (Part Two)
• On October 23, we are holding Ratha Yatra
  festival with ASA Chile in the main advertising
  poster. For that purpose we have had to give a
  contribution which we happily agreed. The
  posters are 1000. We pretend to have 3000
  dishes of prasadam, a big challenge.
• ASA- On Friday?
• We are programing a spiritual brothers meeting.
  There, the function of ASA Chile will be
  presented and we'll continue doing the ASA Chile
  members list.
• Om Kesavaya coming to Chile for give us help.
• ASA-Anjana Suta Academy is an ISKCON Sankirtana
  Party, headed by Hanumatpresaka Swami. Of course,
  many of his Students may be members but that is
  not necessary and it invites Students of other
  Sannyasis, Goswamis, to also join.
• The sending of the letter from ASA Chile to the
  authorities of Iskcon Chile, has had some delay
  due to the little concern of participants. There
  are some topics which we don't know how to
  explain. How can we explain the function of ASA
  Chile inside Iskcon in a simple way?
• ASA- Answer is above, no? Prabhupada says that
  every Sannyasi should be head of his own
  institution for preaching Krsna consciousness, so
  we started ASA. It is like the Bhaktivedanta
  Institute with branches everywhere. It is only
  designed to serve the local Temples.
• In the conferences department, we are searching
  out interesting options in Santiago. We are
  also thinking about intercultural presentation
  projects, with other groups. Are you coming in
  May?
• ASA- We are so old and weak that all of our
  actions are being carried out by Krsna. Haw!
  Haw! We have to start fixing the schedule for
  next year. What months are good. No, sooner than
  May, but what months are good after that?
• Cakori Radha is finishing her project about farm
  develop and cow protection, so devotees can
  discuss it in the next meeting.
• ASA- We are working on the same things here. We
  are eager to hear her results!

• Iskcon Samsthapaka Acarya Srila Prabhupada Ki
  Jay!
• Please accept our humble obeinsances
• Tomorrow we are going to start our Bhakti Sastri
  Seminar. We have four days for reviewing about
  the Srila Prabhupadas books that we read last
  Semester and we have also a preview of Bhagavad
  Gita and Nectar of Devotion. M Hanumatpresaka
  Swami is going to give us the class. We think is
  a great opportunity for asking questions and try
  to understand more and more.
• We want to have a clearer idea about to improve
  our service and we are sure this Bhakti Sastri
  helps us a lot. We need to improve qualities we
  need to educate our heart.

  books available.- P.Harinama das budget for
  the prasadam.

• ASA- More news! Every Ekadasi. Actually Sattwa
  is doing pretty well developing its character
  with the above devotees and Abhirama Prabhu.
  There will be a first event 23rd October in San
  Marcos University. A small cultural fair and then
  academic session with Ananta rupa Prabhu and
  others on Ethics in the World of Business.

• NIOS
• We had a nice letter from Tandavika Prabhu but we
  erased it by mistake. NIOS is working hard for
  the World Culture Exposition in Nashville. They
  will invest 1,300 in LOB blow ups, flyers and
  business cards, Prasadam, and expect to get 900
  back. About 15,000 people attend the Expo.
• Our suggestion is to be ready to deal with the
  new contacts properly. Otherwise can lose so much
  effort!
• Tandavika Prabhu is struggling to do his MA
  degree, family, work, TPP, NIOS government report
  and Expo. No time for Maya!

We are almost finished with the Madhya-lila, and
KRSNA book is on Why Duryodhana Felt Unhappy
After the Raja-suya Sacrifice. Perfection.
