- Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is an effective job
planning tool - MMS recognizes JSA as being one of the most
effective planning tools - Use JSAs to plan on all jobs, new and routine

- SSE Policy (Short Service Employee)
- Contractor personnel with less than six (6)
months in the same job type or with his/her
employer shall be considered a Short Service
Employee (SSE) - Crews with 5 persons or more must seek approval
if the crew compliment exceeds 20. Crews
exceeding 30 SSE require a written variance
approved by upper Shell management.
