Arctic Tundra

CONIFEROUS FORESTS

• -40C to 20C
• 300 to 900 mm of rain
• Lots of rain
• Evergreen, and needle trees.
• Some forests have 2000 mm of rain
• Lots and lots of animals

DECIDUOUS FORESTS

• -30C-30C
• Yearly, 10C
• 750 to 1500 mm of rain per year
• Lots of rain
• Broad leaf trees, oak, maples, beeches, shrubs,
  and mosses.
• Lots of animals
• 30 to 60 inches of rain per year
• Trees height ranges from 60 to 100 feet high!

Grasslands

• 20C-30C
• 500-900 mm of rain per year
• Grasses, prairie clovers, salvia, oats, wheat,
  barley, cone flowers and crops
• 2.1 m of grasses, and can be found in the middle
  of latitude.
