counts of vehicular manslaughter . . . in the
deaths of John and Carole Hall" ("Phone" B1). The
next day Stockwell reported the judge's ruling
Jones "was convicted of negligent driving and
fined 500, the maximum penalty allowed" ("Man"
B4).
