  regionally and globally
• By means of pooling arrangements, the Group
  Clubs share larger risks and participate in
  common reinsurance programmes
• The Group covers 90 of the worlds tonnage
• It provides a voice for shipowners views on new
  Conventions, laws and insurance requirements,
  participating in such inter-governmental bodies
  as IMO as well as dealing with national
  governments
• It shares information on topical problems such
  as personal injury, oil pollution and carriage
  of certain cargoes
