INTRODUCTION
In the Learning, Based on the Web, there are the
different possible levels of independence in
virtual education, since it contains diverse
tools of communication on line (electronic mail,
chat, courses online, links). We proposed for a
limitless number of students, the use of the Word
Wide Web like virtual laboratory in the education
of Morphologic Sciences. This allows the update
of subjects and taking those activities proposed
by teachers and those asked by students,
enriching the education

GOALS
We have implemented the virtual tutorial as
useful tools of remote education in the process
of teaching-learning of Morphologic Sciences as
Cell Biology, Histology and Embryology,
integrated to the classic used techniques of
education until the moment.

MATERIAL AND METHODS
For the online contact we used electronic mail,
Chat and videoconferencias. We used the Website
with virtual activities increasing the galleries
periodically (drawings, images of histology
sections, videos). http//www.histologiavirtual.f
cm.unc.edu.ar Also we made different data bases
with the obtained images in our laboratories of
Histology and Histopathology. These libraries
allowed us to publish Virtual Atlases in CD-ROM
for university teaching.

On an integrated unit about bone tissue and
osteoporosis we use 1- A virtual atlas on CD-ROM
containing normal cells and histology types of
human body (CD-ROM Title Atlas Virtual de
Histología, Authors Samar ME, Avila RE. Pons P.
et al. ISBNN 987-43-6782-2) , 2- Webs containing
information about osteoporosis.
RESULTS
In the course the students analyzed web sites
related with the activities to make in the
biomedical research laboratory.

DISCUSSION
The use of the virtual laboratories in the
Medical Education provides the students
experiences with active learning, facilitating
their participation in projects that promote a
cooperative work, allows them to investigate, to
solve problems, and to develop strategies that
facilitate a greater preparation and
understanding to them of the society in where
they will make his professional activity. We
conclude that use of virtual laboratory as
support on campus activities was positive and
integrate basic with clinical sciences.
