  • Primary school pilot initiative developed in
    conjunction with England Hockey
  • Full-time Hockey Development Officer in post
    since February 2007
  • Moving forwards .. a focus on implementing the
    Single System in partnership with England Hockey
    and Surrey Hockey Association

  • 31,420 young people received high quality
    coaching through the Community Sports Coach
    Scheme
  • 13,851 were girls
  • 1,899 were disabled young people
  • 2,997 were from BME groups

Better Clubs ..
  • 72 clubs across 26 sports working through ASCA
    scheme 15 Bronze, 11 Silver, 7 Gold awards to
    date
  • Benefits package developed by Surrey Cricket to
    reward clubs progressing through ASCA
  • 3 junior netball clubs achieved CAPS with a
    further 3 registered for CAPS accreditation

    county involving 117 clubs

  • 3 JFOs run (35 males / 19 females)
  • SLIC scheme re-launched - 20 young people
    involved
