agroclimatic factors - Research on agricultural and pasture aiming at
sustainable use of land resources.
10Born in early '80s as CNR IATA to face the need
for RS applications to agriculture and to
strenghten the research in the field of
agrometeorology and environmental analysis in
agricultureIn 1995 changes name and turns into
the Istituto per lAgrometeorologia e lAnalisi
Ambientale applicati allAgricoltura. In 2000
was born the present Istituto di Biometerologia
(IBIMET) joining IATA from Florence, IMAes
(Sassari) and ISTEA (Bologna)

experience in the field of the relations between
climate and agricultural species through - participating to research projects at
international (EPOCH, CLAIRE, CLIVARA, CHIP

programmes and projects, at national and
international level. - WMO aknowledged the CNR IBIMET as "Regional
Meteorological Training Center for the VI
Region", with the task to organize higher
education annual courses for knowldge transfer to
Developing Countries several types of
educational activites are currently being
conducted - Grants for post high-school and post-graduated
fellows - Stages
