Wetlands

• A wetland is an area of land that is saturated
  with water. Wetlands are found in coastal areas.
• The water found in wetlands can be freshwater or
  a mixture of freshwater and saltwater from ocean
  tides (brackish water).
• Wetlands are very rich in biodiversity, and home
  to great numbers of endemic species.
• Many migratory birds use wetlands as a temporary
  habitat.
