3What are the options for viewing a presentation?
- Normal most common, used to enter and edit
content - Slide Sorter used to change order, apply
changes to multiple slides at the same time - Slide Show used to present slideshow full
screen - Notes Page seldom used, view slide as how it
would look as a page with notes

- Only view where hyperlinks and animations will

- See presentation with notes only
- Used to review notes if they will be handed out
8How do you change between views?
View Menu
- Select appropriate view from View menu
- OR
- Use shortcuts under Outline/Slide tabs.

9Entering text using the Outline tab on the
Normal View
- Choose the Normal view
- Select the Outline tab
- Click after first slide and begin typing content
for first slide - Note Content appears both in the Outline
and on Slide Pane. Entering content on the
outline view will assure that all text appears on
a printed outline.
10Promoting and Demoting
- To add a new slide, press Enter
- To add a bullet point (demote),press the Tab key
- To change from a bullet point to a new slide,
hold down the shift key and press Tab (promote) - Note You may be able to add all text for your
presentation without using the mouse.

- Titles should be 36 40 point

- Body text should be at least 24 point
- Use sans serif font such as Arial

- Use slide master to change formats.
- Text slides should be brief
- No more than eight words per line.
- No more than eight lines per slide.
14Using the Slide Master
- The purpose of the Slide Master is to allow
global changes to fonts, backgrounds, etc. - Click on the View menu
- Go to View gt Slide Master
- Make changes and close

17Adding an Animation Scheme
- Apply a preset animation when you want the
same effect for all slides - Click the Slide tab and select slidesthat you
want to animate - On Slide Show menu click on Animation Schemes
- Click on scheme you wish to apply
- Click No Animation to remove one

- Very similar to animation scheme
- Animations happen on slides
- Transitions happen between slides

- Highlight text
- Click on Insert Hyperlink button
- Enter address

- Type in web link address
- Press enter address should appear
