  it will succeed only if it sharpens them.

Authority

• J.O. Urmson is Emeritus Fellow of Corpus Christi
  College, - Oxford. Jonathan Ree is Lecturer in
  Philosophy at Middlesex Polytechnic. He is the
  author of a number of books on philosophy,
  history and literature, and is the joint editor
  with Alan Montefiore and Jean-Jacques Lecercle of
  the Unwin Hyman Problems in modern European
  thought series.
