Sterling finds a raccoon named Rascal and raises
him.
- Sterling finds Rascal, with his friend Oscar.
- Theo comes home and says that they have to get a
housekeeper. - Sterling brings Rascal to school, he bites
Slammy Stillman. - Sterling and his dad are forced to hire a
full-time housekeeper. - Rascal has to be put in a cage, because he is
getting in trouble. - Sterling lets Rascal go live a regular life in
the wild.

Wild animals arent pets and they most likely
want to live life in their own habitat, not human
habitat.

PLOT
5SETTING
THE TRIP
During this trip Sterling and his dad wanted to
find a whippoorwill. While looking Rascal and
Sterling found a cave or den that a famous Indian
hid in because the white men were looking for
him. A guy named Bert Bruce invited Sterling and
Rascal into his cabin so they could talk to each
other more. Sterling was surprised at how many
fish he had caught and how easy it came to him.
