• Strong history of collaborative partnerships
• Wimmera Southern Mallee VET Cluster established
  in 1997
• Students from partner schools travel to Horsham
  each Wednesday to access a range of VET options
• Collaborative, cross-sectoral arrangements
  provide the critical mass of students to enable
  access to a wider range of VET options than might
  otherwise be available in individual schools
• Strong commitment to VET, despite challenges of
  access
• (e.g. transport, travel time and cost, distance)
• Transport model developed through collaborative
  partnerships, with the Department of Transport,
  to support access to VET (formerly the Access
  Bus Model in 2009, a Regular Public Transport
  service)
