Foundation -Aston Martin is a manufacturer of
luxury performance cars (slogan Power Beauty
Soul) -it was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin
and Robert Bamford -The companys name is
derived to Aston Clinton (a small village near
Buckinghamshire) and Lionel Martin, one of the
founders -Lionel Martin created the first
car -They began to produce the first car, a
four-cylinder engine on a Isotta Fraschini
chassis, in 1915 David Brown era -David Brown
Limited (under leadership of Sir David Brown)
bought the company in 1947 -that was the
beginning of the classic series cars bearing the
DB initials

because of the high quality and the design also
