Title: Folie 1
1Sangrovit
for Lactating Sows
2Often sows do not have sufficient feed intake to
cover their high energy and nutritional
requirements during the lactation phase,
particularly at the beginning. Here Sangrovit
facilitates natural appetite enhancement and thus
helps to reduce nutritional deficiencies during
lactation. Thus sows have to mobilize less body
fat to cover their energy demand. Sows fed with
Sangrovit are less exhausted at weaning which is
beneficial to their health, longevity and
particularly their fertility.

Due to some not treatment related reasons, single
piglet weight as well as litter weight in the
Sangrovit group was lower as compared to the
control group.
Despite the lower piglet weight after farrowing,
piglets in the Sangrovit group gained more weight
as compared to the control group.

In addition, there is an effect of TxPC, which
means an effect of Sangrovit related to the

Higher litter weight gain was observed in first
and second litter sows treated with Sangrovit.
This leads to the conclusion, that FCR was better
in the Sangrovit sows. Sangrovit has a positive
effect particularly in young sows that are
typically affected by two types of stress at the
same time Their own growth and milk production.

13Sangrovit for lactating sows
- Improves feed intake and nutrient digestibility
during the lactation phase, thus increasing
nutrient supply for sows - Reduction of nutritional deficiencies during
lactation - Reduced metabolic stress
- Enhanced vitality and fertility
- Improved litter weight gain
