Title: Presentazione di PowerPoint
1DITTY Project
WP1 Data compilation
2WP1 Data compilation
- Objectives
- Collect all the relevant information concerning
data, modelling approaches, relevant projects and
studies, - Decide the priority problems to be analysed at
each site (with end-user) - Implement a preliminary quality data check
- Discuss all relevant aspects concerning software
tools
3Where we are.
- Collect all available maps, biogeochemical and
socioeconomic data for each site - (even if some new data are recently become
available) - Collect synthesis reports for all sites
- (with all the running available information)
- Preliminary quality data check completed for all
sites - (maps, biogeochemical and socioeconomic data)
4WP1 Data compilation
- DATA SET structure.
- Maps
- All Maps are collected, checked and sorted.
- The metadata information were verified
- the projection system and eventual defects or
not-homogeneity were checked with WP3. - All maps are transferred to WP3 for the final
validation and for web GIS application

6Biogeochemical Socioeconomic data
- datasets for all sites are collected, checked and
sent to WP2 for database population - some points has to be clarify with
site-responsables - We define 3 locations
- watershed and meteorological station,
- coastal system
- adjacent sea
7 and 5 categories 1. Waters includes the
hydrogeological and oceanographic
variables 2. Physicochemical includes the physic
and chemical variables of water and
sediment 3. Biota includes variables related to
micro and macro organisms 4. Meteorological
includes weather and atmospheric
variables 5. Socioeconomic includes variables
related to human and social activities With the
correspondent datatype code i.e. 2.09 (ex
cs2-06) suspended particulate matter
concentration in water (g m-3) Each time series
of data will be identify by location, station,
category, datatype, start, end, frequency

22- Planned activities for the next period
- The WP1 has been finalised for the most part.
Data and maps have been transferred to WP2 and
WP3. - In the next period WP1 will support WP2 and WP3
- To implement data base population
- To integrate missing data
- To integrate with data based on needs and inputs
from WP4, 5 and 8 - To implement data analysis tools with analysis of
the most complete data sets, in order to identify
both spatial distribution and temporal patterns,
in cooperation with WP4 and WP5 - To finalise the scenarios identification, through
Multicriteria Analysis, Qualitative analysis and
Network Analysis, in cooperation with WP6 and
WP8.
