- Semantic Interoperability Centre Europe
2The Mission of SEMIC.EU
- Wherever Information is exchanged between
- different technical or professional domains
- different countries and languages
- different public administrations
- we need to find the common ground of the meaning
of what is exchanged semantic understanding.
This common understanding is what we refer to as
interoperability asset. - SEMIC.EU takes up this challenge to create the
library, the shared memory in which these
valuable results of practical collaboration are
reposited and are made available to others. - There is a need for memory in Europe!
