- Bullying is
- repeated, intentional, aggressive behavior
towards one person from another person or group
of people - So
- Bullying Happens When
- Someone unfairly hurts you over
- and over.
Its Bullying if . . . Someone is hurting
another person on purpose And the kid who is
doing it has more power.

- Pushing Shoving
- Kicking Hitting
- Teasing Name calling
- Staring Threatening
- Leaving someone out
- Taking or ruining another persons things
Gossiping

12What do I do if I am being bullied?In the Moment
- Ignore them! Pretend you didnt hear them
- Dont even look at them , Dont Cry , Dont get
angry - Dont show them that you are upset
- Respond to the Bully calmly and firmly
- Act confident. Hold your head up, stand up
strait, and make eye contact. - Turn the comment into a joke.
- Talk about it to someone else always tell a
friend - Write it down so you dont forget to tell someone
- Turn and walk away. Remove yourself from the
situation. - Go somewhere that an adult is
present. - Let their words bounce off you
13What do I do if I am being bullied?
- Remember,
- you are not the one with the problem.
- The bully is.
- Talk to an adult!
- Do not fight back- it will make things worse
- Stay Calm - bullies want you to react
14How do you keep from being bullied ? Be Smart. .
. PREVENT
- 1. Hang out with friends-travel with at least 1
other person - 2. Join groups who like the same things
- 3. Walk to school with someone
- 4. Avoid bulliesstay away from them!
- 5. Avoid places where bullies are
- 6. Stay within the sight of adults- parents,
teachers, bus drivers - 7. Do not act scared- keep your head up and be
confident - 8. Sit near the bus driver on the bus or walk
with a teacher to class - 9. Dont bring expensive things or money to
school - 10 Label your belongings with permanent marker in
case they get stolen. - 11 Use your sense of humor
- 12. Avoid places where bullying happens .
