3Mechanical tolerance
- Some problem
- box
- Bending of L-profiles runs up to 1.2 mm
- Suitable value lt200 mkm ------ 100-150
mkm on glued box - Torsion of wacosit front profile unusable
- Radiator flatness sometimes is not good
especially on the corners - Position of ledge on L-profile does not
correspond to position of front - profile ledge
- We should check diameter of holes in front
profiles (use gas connector) - Remove surplus of glue from holes during gluing
of gas connectors into - front profile
- Pad plane panel
- We should check a quality of cable soldering to
the pads. - As a result 3 glued pad plane panels (from 18)
have a defect - (no contact between pads and outside
cable)

7Wire transferring
- 3 microscopes are used to define right wire
position relatively to reference hole - precision 50 mkm
- Special pins are used for anode wire transferring
- Head 10 mm diameter, 3.5 mm height, 20 mkm
precision - Chamber is fixed to a table

9Anode wire quality
glue
- Some anode wire has bad quality
- We have lost 1 chamber, and 1 bad chamber was
repaired ( dark current was gt500 nA when
chamber was tested on air under 1500 V anode
voltage) - Do not touch anode wire during the wires
soldering.

11Testing
- Gas mixture Ar/CO2
- 8 keV X-ray tube
- Movement X-ray tube by hand
- Measurement
- - dark current
- - dependence of anode current from HV
- - gain uniformity
- Anode current reads out to PC
- 3 cm pitch is used for gain uniformity

19- Conclusions
- 13 chambers are ready and tested
- Gain uniformity 25-30
- 2 chambers (under transferring of anode planes)
- 4 boxes and 19 pad plane panels are ready
- Time which we intend to spend for 2 chambers
production is 8 days - For that we need to arrange 2 additional working
places (for gluing pad plane panel to chamber and
for testing) - We need to get the materials (before April) from
GSI/HD - - Front and side profiles
- - Pad planes
- - Gas connectors
