- Today you are going to learn about the rules and
basic procedures of this class. - Lets discuss your packet.
4Dear Students, Welcome to your classroom! This
is a computer and practical living classroom
what happens in here will affect your future. You
will be successful in this class as long as you
put forth the effort. It was Denzel Washington
that once told his children, do what you gotta
do, so that you can do what you want. The time
in this class will be spent productively. Your
guardian and I agree that your education is
important. You will not only learn about basic
business and computer skills, but you will also
be able to apply your skills to real life
situations. Im looking forward to having you
in my class. With your cooperation, positive
attitude, and willingness to be successful, I am
assured we will have a great semester. If you

- Every day you come to class you must work on
Ultra Key - Ultra Key is the bell ringer for this class
everyday!!! - Ultra Key is a program that will help you type
better if you are consistent in using it and are
willing to do it correctly. It is important that
you learn how to type correctly now it will help
you in the future! - You will get randomly graded on Ultra Key.

- 2. Bring to class Everyday
- It is your responsibility to bring a writing
utensil and something to write on everyday. - I will supply you with anything else needed for
this class. - It is also your responsibility to bring your
school agenda to class everyday. - You may NEVER leave my class for ANY reason
without your agenda.

- You will be issued a folder in this class.
- Make sure you take care of the folder. You are
responsible for making sure your folder is put in
the folder organizer everyday. - You will get a folder check grade in this class.
- If your folder is not in the organizer when I
grade, you will not receive a grade for it.

- Make sure you always long on to the computer
using your own log on and password. - Never give your password to anyone.
- If something happens to a computer while under
your log on name, you are ultimately responsible.
Therefore, make sure you log off the computer
whenever you leave it.

- They are a privilege!
- Only be on with permission
- When on them, use good judgment do not send bad
emails do not get on bad sites - One mistake and you can be kicked off for the
rest of the year. - We do have internet assignments so be careful and
responsible

- Always add a name, date, and class period to any
paperwork you turn in. - When sending an assignment via email, always add
your work as an attachment and always type what
class youre from in the subject line. - There is 11 taken off every day an assignment
- is late
- no name
- no class reference in the subject line of an
email - no attachment
- It is also appropriate to do your own work.
Please do not plagiarize. Plagiarism will earn
you a zero on an assignment without the
opportunity for a redo. - You may redo assignments if we discuss the
problem one on one. We will not discuss this in
the middle of class. At the beginning of class or
the end of class is appropriate. A redo will
never be 100. 98 is the highest possible grade
you can receive for a redo. - Almost all assignments are graded on a 4, 3, 2,
1, 0 scale unless otherwise stated - 4 100
