  electoral vote, the House of Representatives
  decides.

• Hamilton did not like either Burr or Jefferson,
  but felt that Jefferson was the lesser of two
  evils.

• After 4 days and 36 votes, Jefferson was chosen
  as the 3rd President with Burr as his Vice
  President.

• In 1804, the 12th amendment was passed and the
  election of the Vice President was changed.
