3 Types of immersion
  • A. Early (total) immersion
  • Entirely in French from kindergarten
  • English is introduced in grade 2, 3 or 4
  • At the grade 6-8, approximately half the school
    days is in French and half in English

  • Spend 50 of their time studying in French
  • From kindergarten or grade through Grade 8
  • C. Late immersion
  • 50 of subjects in French for 1-2 years
